HR Manager - ADDO


Leading Fruit Exporters requires HR Manager to report to the EXCO members.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following
* Manage the Personnel and Training Function within agreed budgetary limits,that the company and the individual can benefit through the employee ability to attain optimum performance and growth.
* This person will provide employee relations support, including employee and management counseling and issues facilitation.
* Reviews and approves performance appraisals; counsels supervisors on writing reviews and warnings.
* Provides policy support by revising policy, when necessary and assisting with policy interpretation.
* Screening of applicants and conducting competency-based interviews for open positions to ensure an effective recruitment practice.
* Preparation and conducting of training programs to all levels of employees which communicate established corporate practices and benefits (e.g. new hire orientation), legal requirements (e.g. safety, sexual harassment), personal or career enhancement opportunities, or work improvement methods (e.g. team building, conflict resolution).
* Conducting exit interviews to review benefit continuation options and to ensure progressive retention practices.
  • A B degree in HR
  • 2-3 yrs HR exp at Management level
  • The ability to liaise fluently in English and Xhosa
  • The ability to relocate to ADDO and live in company-paid house
